CLASP CLASP is an association which brings local archaeology enthusiasts together to investigate their local past. Northamptonshire Archaeological Society The County Archaeological Society with membership open to all. Publishes the county archaeological journal, providing reports on excavations throughout Northamptonshire, a newsletter of topical items and arranges site visits, lectures and other events. Northamptonshire County Council The County Council web site which also provides a link to the Historic Environment Team who maintain the County SMR and the Archaeological Planning Officer who provides advice to developers and the local planning authorities. Northamptonshire Industrial Archaeology Group Local organisation for those with an interest in Industrial Archaeology, members welcome. Holds regular meetings and site visits. Northamptonshire Natural History Society With its own rooms in Northampton, the society includes an Archaeology section that holds regular meetings. The Prebendal Manor House Medieval Manor House at Nassington, with gardens and exhibitions open to the public. Upper Nene Archaeological Society Local archaeological society responsible for the long-running excavation at Piddington Roman Villa and shortly to open a museum to display the results. New members welcome. Whitehall Farm Roman Villa Based at Nether Heyford, Northamptonshire.
